PlayerVox OverCrow terms of use
Version 1 · In force from: October 13, 2026
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms apply when you use PlayerVox OverCrow ("OverCrow"): the application, its Control Center, its widget catalog, ratings and reports. By using OverCrow, you accept them. They exist in English and in French.
The essentials
- PlayerVox OverCrow is free today. You can install and use it on your computers. Paid options or paid widgets may come: their price will always be shown before any purchase.
- OverCrow never touches the game. Following each game's rules is up to you.
- Third-party widgets are made by their creators. PlayerVox reviews every version before publication.
- Rate honestly: one rating per account and per widget.
- Report a widget that causes trouble: we examine every report.
1. Who we are
1.1 PlayerVox OverCrow is published by Valhallab SASU, under the PlayerVox brand ("we" or "us"): a French single-shareholder simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €1,000, registered with the Créteil trade and companies register under number 987 488 228, 17 rue des Orvilliers, 94320 Thiais, France.
1.2 Write to us at contact@valhallab.com, in English or in French. It is also our single point of contact for users and authorities under the Digital Services Act.
1.3 What we do with your data is described in the PlayerVox OverCrow privacy policy.
2. Your right to use PlayerVox OverCrow
2.1 OverCrow is proprietary software of Valhallab. We give you the free, personal and non-exclusive right to install and use it on your computers, for your own use, as long as you follow these terms.
2.2 You may not sell, rent, redistribute, modify or decompile it, except where the law allows you to.
2.3 PlayerVox widgets are under the MIT license. A third-party widget is under the license its creator chose; whatever it is, the creator allows you to install and use it in OverCrow, free of charge.
2.4 The PlayerVox and OverCrow names and logos remain ours.
3. Games
3.1 OverCrow stays outside the game: it does not read its memory, does not change its files and never plays in your place.
3.2 A game publisher or its anti-cheat may still forbid third-party tools. We cannot guarantee that a game publisher accepts OverCrow: follow each game's rules.
4. Widgets
4.1 PlayerVox makes its own widgets. The others are made by their creators, whose name appears on the listing. A creator can be an individual or a business. They are responsible for their widget: its content, its behaviour, their servers and their privacy policy.
4.2 Before publication, PlayerVox reviews every version against the publication rules, which are public. This review reduces risks without removing them.
4.3 Before installing a widget, you see its permissions and can refuse them. PlayerVox's built-in widgets receive their permissions by default.
4.4 A widget removed from the catalog stays installed on your computer and keeps working. We can also stop it on your computer if its creator asks, or if it puts players at risk.
4.5 Today, catalog widgets are free and carry no advertising and no payment. Paid widgets, or paid content inside a widget, may come: their price and terms will be shown before any purchase, and these terms will be completed first (section 10).
5. Catalog order
5.1 In OverCrow and on overcrow.playervox.com, widgets are listed in alphabetical order. Filters (category, game) only narrow the list, like a search in OverCrow. On the site, a search ranks the results by how closely they match the text searched: the ID and the name first, then the games, the category, the publisher and the description.
5.2 Ratings, installations, publication date and publisher, PlayerVox included, never change the order.
5.3 A creator can pay for promotion: their widget then appears in a separate spot, labeled "Sponsored", in addition to its usual place. The order of the other widgets does not change.
6. Ratings
6.1 Who can rate. A person signed in to OverCrow with a PlayerVox account whose e-mail is verified, and who has the widget installed. One rating per account and per widget, from 0 to 100. Members of a widget's publisher cannot rate it.
6.2 What we check. The account, and that OverCrow declares the widget installed. We do not check how long you used it. We never change a rating.
6.3 What is shown. The average of all current ratings, unweighted, its rank (from S+ to F) and the number of ratings, from 5 ratings. A rating counts as soon as you give it; you can change or remove it at any time.
6.4 Rules. Rate your own experience. No fake accounts, no rating given in exchange for something, no rating to harm a competing widget. We may remove ratings that break these rules, and remove the right to rate from the account that gave them.
7. Reporting a widget
7.1 Anyone can report a widget, in two ways:
- in OverCrow: Report this widget, on the widget's page;
- by e-mail to contact@valhallab.com, with or without OverCrow, giving the widget's ID (on its page, in OverCrow or on overcrow.playervox.com).
Say what is wrong, and where. To report illegal content, write by e-mail: give your name, explain why the content is illegal, and state that your report is made in good faith.
7.2 We examine every report with care. If you write by e-mail, we confirm receipt, then tell you our decision. A report made in OverCrow holds no address: we cannot answer you. The creator gets the reasons for the decision, never your identity, unless the law requires it.
7.3 Do not send a report you know is false. We may ignore the reports of someone who does so repeatedly.
8. Our decisions and your appeals
If we remove one of your ratings or limit your access, we tell you why. If you reported a widget and gave your address, we tell you the reasons for our decision. You can contest the decision within six months by writing to contact@valhallab.com: a person examines it again and answers you with its reasons. Your other remedies, before the courts included, remain open.
9. Liability
9.1 OverCrow is free today. We work to keep it running and safe, but we do not guarantee that it works with every game or every system, or without interruption. We may change or remove a feature; we announce it in the release notes.
9.2 We are not liable for third-party widgets or the services they call, unless we are at fault, for example if we leave a widget online after a well-founded report.
9.3 Within the limits allowed by law, we are liable only for direct damage caused by our own fault. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to limit, nor your rights as a consumer.
10. Changes
We date each version of these terms. We announce a new version in OverCrow's release notes and on overcrow.playervox.com, at least 30 days before it applies, unless the law or a security risk requires acting faster. If you do not accept it, you can stop using OverCrow and delete your PlayerVox account if you have one.
11. Law and disputes
11.1 French law applies to these terms. You also keep the protection that the law of your country of residence gives you.
11.2 If something goes wrong, write to us first. The courts competent under the law apply, those of your place of residence included.
11.3 The English and French versions have the same value. In case of difference, the reading most favorable to you applies.
